This is me, I am totally cranky when someone plays with me when I’m doing a chore i don’t want to do. I do not value this trait.
I laughed so hard the first time someone told me this joke, I think I only put it in here to remind me once in a while.
Every time I read this strip I feel like Dee in the 3rd panel. But the truth is the manufacturing of the majority of the things we buy follow this thinking.

Oh, how I like a first-panel gag, especially when the last panel is dang funny too.
This scenario I actually pulled (in its essence) from my personal life. How many dishes I have to do afterwards has often been far too significant a factor in what I make for dinner.

I am often acutely aware when I’m reassuring someone and in the back of my head know that I’m only PROBABLY correct.
Why does everything seem fun as soon as you can’t do it? I don’t know.
Re-reading this one, though, made me snort a laugh. I like that.
