This was a strip that came VERY close to making some serious commentary on society and our criminal justice system, luckily Vachel saved it with levity by noting that certain inmates need haircuts.

I like it when I assume the worst and am surprised. Generally I don’t assume the worst, and rarely even then am I surprised, so it is always doubly rare and doubly pleasurable.
No matter what you make, it can always use a little ketchup. Right?
