I love that feeling, where everything is so relaxed and serene, that I could just slip off into sleep.
Unfortunately it usually happens during important lectures or meetings.
This strip was a bit of a stretch of the reality (I know, I know, a talking bear, WHAT reality). But it was too sweet and too much fun to imagine vachel going to these lengths to avoid a hug that he KINDA REALLY ACTUALLY WANTS.

Thank you Vachel. We didn’t want to know.
This strip was fun to write, because I like decorating my tree by making things. Although I usually keep to stringing cranberries and popcorn.

Sometimes telling outright lies to bafflingly foolish questions is very hard to resist. Unlike Vachel, however, I always feel bad afterwards.

Odd to think that this is one of the most adult strips in the entire Little Dee series. :)
I enjoy writing nugget jokes like this. The tennis is mentioned in a list of throw-away silliness, but then it shows up again in the punchline. Ah, the craft of humor. I love it.
