Kids not only enjoy a good wordplay, but they live and die by the sword of wordplay. Dibs. Called it. Nothing Can Stop Me. These are rules of law.
I remember playing word play games like this a lot when I was a kid. Not terribly clever, but to a kid, everything is clever.
None of us like being judged, even when we deserve it. :)

This is the kind of stupid mistake I’d make, except I’d then realize it was at the bottom of a pile of dirt I’d have to move again.
It may be surprising to know how often I’ve had the thought about using brooms on dirt floors. I actually think it can make some sense, but obviously not when trying to get rid of all the dirt.
That looks somewhat like the Borg, doesn’t it. Huh.
The days of the door-to-door salesmen are largely over, but I can only imagine it must be a dreadful job.
I like to think the word “mulled” must be nice in nature and have a very generous definition.
