Seriously, I once took some English cheese with me on a student trip, and didn't refrigerate it for about 4 days. I should probably back up a moment, I have nothing but love for France, it's people (those who I've met), how they've helped our country, and I even stayed in a small town there and was fed numerous excessively stinky cheeses I was told that i would hate because I'm American but loved. Seriously. But it's still a simple fact that most of our modern humor is based on the Brits who have a thing for French mockery. Yes? Yes. :) @Jill is totally right.
