@Harena, in Dee’s case it is being lost, not abandoned. My elder daughter used to have nightmares about it. “Daddy, I dreamed I was lost and being chased by something, but then you found me and it was okay.” When I was away on duty was the worst for her.

Abandonment or being lost is a universal fear of children, I read.
