...DÚPUDÚPUDÚPUDÚPUDÚPUDÚ!

The great things about occasional characters like the Pudú and the Alligator was that we never knew when they would turn up.

Pudu has been and will always be my favorite. :) Oh, and if asphyxiation is indeed the risk here, being they live in a cave, perhaps a carbon monoxide detector would also be a good idea? Those detectors can pick up problems not even caused by fires...like gas leaks from the stove (or if one of Vachels' cooking adventures goes wrong, but that beeping would also involve the smoke detector). ;)

I'm definitely left-leaning and none too fond of firearms, but I found this comic hilarious. It did occur to me to wonder why they'd need a fire alarm since they live in a presumably non-flammable cave (and from what we've seen, they don't have carpeting/wall hangings/other flammable bits), but I suppose asphyxiation would still be a problem if a fire got going.

...My first comment, and it's a mess of overanalysis. That's about expected, I guess. I love the comic, Mr. Baldwin, and have been reading it since...Hm, I guess it would have been the fall of '09 when I first came across it. Thanks for all the wonderful characters (PUDÚPUDÚPUDÚPUDÚ), and for running through all the pages a second time so that we can meet 'em all over again.

Nah, don't worry. Guns can be funny, too. Especially sawed-off shotguns
