This strip had some bonus humour for me: I have read a couple of books buy a guy who has come up with a persona of obstacles – pronounced as if it were greek (ob-stah-ca-leez). That’s how that word sounds every time I read it now, and I thought it fit nicely with the general rhythm of the song.

@Steve_K., well, in a manner. The first theater bit began the, well, theater bits. Then we progressed to this being the first musical. But I don't think the sheep came directly from this strip, I think it came straight from idea itself of singing pirates, where sheep (being where wool comes from) would be the most "logical" to ride. :)

Brian Henson said if his dad got stuck with a muppets sketch he had three main ways of exiting: eat it, blow it up, or throw penguins at it. I am thinking there were some places where he threw sheep at it as well.

4th and 5th Bah need to be combined into one long Baaah so that it fits the rhythm of “I’ve come to saaave you.”
