@Ronald, Well, it’s not in their living room I guess is the point. It’s near their cave, maybe in their “yard.” Maybe more meaning, “it’s time to have dinner and get ready for bed.”

The Alligator almost doesn’t need Blake to DO anything to make the relationship work since he interprets Blake’s every unrelated word and action as fitting right in with it anyway. Any actual interest by Blake would probably just slow things down.
