She'd eat it and them spend the next two hours licking her chops, trying to get it all off the roof of her mouth. Later on, my own Shar Pei would beg intensely when I had a PB&J sandwich. She adored Jif creamy PB and Smuckers black raspberry jelly. She would eat her share, then go get a drink to clear her mouth. If I had let her, she'd have eaten those sandwiches until she burst. For some reason it didn't stick to the roof of her mouth the way it does to most dogs. Our family Dachshund LOVED peanut butter.
