I did that with my grandson once when he was about eight. He wore my behind out, too. We finished by laying in a big pile of raked leaves and it ended up in a “leaf fight”. Then we had to rake the leaves again. We worked up an appetite, though. These days, he is 17, 6′2-1/2” (and still growing) and 240 pounds. A lineman for his HS football team. I let him run by himself and we walk together, since I’m 60, now. But he remembers the occasion and that is all that matters.
