Once my family (two parents and six children) went on a day trip to Quebec City. As my parents stood arguing about what to do and see, I quietly walked up to them and took the map. My siblings and I conferred, decided we wanted to see the fort, and figured out which direction to go. “Mom, Dad, we’re heading to the fort!” I called out, and then we started walking, leaving my parents no choice but to follow us. We called the shots the rest of the day too, and it was awesome.

This actually is a successful mating strategy for Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep. While two males are knocking their heads in over a female, a third male appears, successfully mates with the female, and leaves the two overly-aggressive males dizzy and too concussed to remember what they were about in the first place.
