I'm a connoisseur of grape and orange sodas, myself. Crush does a passable orange, but for the grape it's Welch's or nothing.

"A-ha! Absurd, yet flaccid." - Robin Williams making fun of wine snobbery.

Personally, I prefer watermelon wine or sangria to a Chateau Lafite Rothschild ,1953 or a Dom Pérignon, 1978 (both of which I have tried). I have zero wine palette. The sweeter the better for me. I am a wine philistine and wine snobs spit when they hear my name. I cook mostly with vermouth.

However, I can tell the difference between Hawaiian Kona and Jamaican Blue Mountain coffees on the first sip, as I can between Arabica beans and Colombian or Brazilian.

It all boils down to likes, I guess.
