Man, I’m not sure I’m ready for there to be webcomics I remember the very beginnings of to be 6 years old. When I started reading webcomics there were like…half a dozen that were 6 years old or older.

The nostalgia for me is remembering our trip to Manzanita with Sara, Steve, Johnzo and Vic, where you started sketching out Little Dee and I started on Sheldon, which became Wanderlost. That was 8 years ago, good grief. That weekend Jenn and I got the news that the bank approved our home loan. That was two houses, two kids, two careers and grad school ago.

So it brings up good memories of good times, brother.

Wow, how did I miss this the first time through? I popped over to the old site and began reading and this is just a wonderful comic. Great characters, witty writing and beautiful art. I may just skip over and buy book one right now. Glad to see you re-running this.

Aaaand we’re off! I always remember when I started reading this at Comics.com. Panel 2: “The art’s not the best but awww, the little girl is crying!” Panel 5: “Holy crap! It’s a bear! Run, little girl, run! I gotta find out what happens next!”

Dee certainly grew over the years (or at least her body grew to match those huge hands; not that I’m complaining :D )

And another thing: First post on the first strip! How often can you get a chance to say that? (And if you know me, you’ll know I never rub first posts in)
