Thank you for featuring one of those neat things done by Theodore Gray.

His Wooden Periodic Table is a wonder for learning about the bits and pieces that make up the universe.

And he warns you that if you do the liquid oxygen wrong, you get the awesome kaboom. You light a healthy twist of paper in the charcoal before pouring a pan full of LOX on the end of your 10 foot pole.

So far as I know, the record time for getting coals from unlit to ready to cook is still 0.6 seconds, thanks to liquid oxygen. Unfortunately in the process the grill was reduced to a glowing silvery circle of molten aluminum, but hey. That’s progress.
