@Pete Rogan: Unfortunately, bookstores are a dying breed. I buy hard copies (which I prefer) from Amazon or Books-A-Million. I have to drive to Columbus or Cincinnati (Ohio) to buy a book in a book store. I also have Kindle books since it's easier to take 10 or 15 books with me on vacation that way.

@Muzhik: I believe movie theaters are going the way of bookstores. Pity. Godzilla just doesn't look as imposing on the home screen. Soon it will all be download and play at home. Personally I dislike cinemas anymore as people have grown so uncouth that they ruin the experience. Also, children should be spanked when they act like demons, even if said spanking happens in public. Parents who let their children disrupt theaters, airliners, roll canned goods down grocery store aisles, etc, deserve punishment, too. Bastinado is about right.

Bookstores. You must count the number of bookstores, or else you are not in a town. You are in a strip mall.

I defined the size of the local towns, cities, etc. by the number of movie theaters it could support. To each his own.

If the number of pizza places and donut shops does define the size of a town, then the town I live in is a lot bigger than I previously thought it to be. We only have a handful of donut shops, but it'd take more than two hands to count out all of the pizza places we've got.

Wikipedia lists towns named Clarkston and towns named Leesville but apparently no state contains both. Not sure if I really expected there to be one or not. ;-)

Still, if Clarkston is small and Leesville, by implication, even smaller, then maybe neither warrant Wikipedia pages of their own.

Or maybe the towns are named after CLARK Kent and Linda LEE.
