I have to say, if Blake saw go down the well, that was an impressive bit of common sense that he showed in NOT immediately going down after her, in realizing "Okay, this is a 'Ted' situation." I'm not sure what Ted's cross about in Panel 2. Vachel didn't even mention *the* well, he mentioned *wells*, and he certainly didn't tell her to go down one.
