The "cheese" thing is just a misconception perpetuated by cartoons, much like the "elephants are afraid of mice" thing. A mouse will eat cheese if that's what's *available*, of course. I mean, anything's better than nothing. Actually, in real life mice *prefer* bacon because it has more protein (of course, in real life, mice don’t TALK, so…).
