I discovered Little Dee just a few weeks ago. Started at the beginning, ordered the books, too. But occasionally my finger would hit ‘last’ and I would inadvertently see your most recent strip. Is this really the end? Say it ain’t so…..

Wouldn’t this have been a great moment for her to finally speak?

Being raised by animals for only, what, a year or two isn’t the same as being raised by animals from infancy (as IIRC Emily from Spacetrawler was), but I wonder if, technically speaking, Dee’s experiences make her a sort of pint-sized Queen of the Jungle[Forest] type.

“Don’t worry, Mom, I’ll go tell those raccoons to keep it quiet…”
