@AmyB, Thank you! And I'm afraid the 4-part books will not be reprinted. I reprinted it in the two larger Little Dee "anthologies." Which contain all the strips as well.

This was my first experience with Little Dee--I found it on a list of favorites on another strip and didn't realize at first that it was not a current series. Heartbroken it ended.I ordered the books while keeping up with the daily reruns--but the fourth and last book was unavailable. Will there be another printing? Little Dee had an unexpected impact on my heart. Thank you. I'm now onto your other brilliant series.

Little Dee ends again. It's sad and bittersweet. My copies of the books have been stuck in storage (with many other things) for four years. I'll just have to go back to the beginning again.

Thank you. I have been throught the archives twice, and re-run favorites when I was feeling low.

I will hazard an opinion that, because all of your characters are likeable, even loveable, with quirks a-plenty, and warm doses of humanity in their very core, that this will be a comic for the ages.

Has anyone contacted you about a Ph.D dissertation? Expect it!

Charge accordingly!

Warmest regards, and THANKS for making the world a tiny bit better.

Gah! More bittersweet than chocolate, and I'll miss this bit of the morning routine. Thank you for all of this, Christopher. But, oh! Chocolate milk! :-D

All of you <3 <3 <3

@War_Pig, I'd love a hardcover, but no plans yet. In fact, the books will be made not available when the new graphic novel comes out (according to my contract), so buy them now! :)

Little Dee is one of those rare stories which takes on a life of its own. It is so pure and so cute, yet at the same time so satirical, that you can't help but read it over and over. Like Looney Tunes, it appeals to kids yet there are inside jokes that adults get as well.

I'm going to preorder the "Penguin" book by Christmas, too. A present to myself. I have the other books as well as the Space Trawler t-shirt so this would be a nice addition. My young grandkids love Vachel. They think he's a naughty but fun character, like Wile E Coyote - SUPER genius. Whenever Dee gives him a comeuppance, they are delighted. I read the books to them at bedtime when they're over at my place. All three of them crowd onto the sofa with me so they can see the artwork as I read it to them.

Chris, have you ever thought about offering the first set of books in hardcover/library bound as an option? They'd last longer. I realize it may not be fiscally possible, but I'd sure like it. While I possess a few paperbacks that are several years old, I possess hardbound books that are several decades old.

My only other option would be to scan them to digital files and archive them that way. Beloved books see a lot of wear and tear.
