@War Pig, Dude! You REALLY need to open up a new browser window RIGHT NOW and go to Mystic Monk Coffee (www.mysticmonkcoffee.com). It's a Roman Catholic monastery in Wyoming that started the business to even out the vagaries of cattle ranching. I can personally vouch for either their Mystic Monk Blend or their Cowboy Blend.

Was looking at Little Dee books on Amazon, and found something interesting: Little Dee Volume 1 can be purchased for $.08. The cheapest price for Little Dee Volume 2 is $409.44. Not a typo. When bots like Pewter run wild, I guess...

I generally buy my own beans then re-roast them a little darker. I mix Hawaiian Kona and Jamaican Blue Mountain. I then keep them in the freezer and take out enough for each pot, grind it fresh and then make the coffee. Beats the heck out of Starbucks. Cheaper, too. I can see why people put so much junk in their Starbucks coffee, the basic coffee sucks and you have to cover the bad flavor. Mine I drink black - no sugar. If I have to buy a mass produced grind I buy Folgers Gourmet Supreme. It's the only mass made coffee I can stand.

When I worked for Honeywell Ericsson Dev.Co., they got a coffee service in our new building; the first thing was, double-baging the pots, and it WAS Industrial Strength. The Swedes (all the managers, over on 2-year contract here) thought it was almost enough.

It is currently 60+ in Iowa, Ted wouldn't feel like hibernating anyway. Just a couple of days until the nights start getting shorter too!
