So, today is going to be the last day of daily “Little Dee” strips for now. I have loved bringing the daily strip back to life, but I am currently in full-development for other projects, most notably whatever project will come after Anna Galactic ends in Aug/Sep. This extra intense work (plus other work/freelance projects) means that it has become harder and harder (and less fun) to focus and come up with “Little Dee” strips, and I wish to put it aside before I start putting up sub-standard work.

If you wish me to send you an email if there is more Little Dee material to come, email me here, and I’ll add you to an email list (I know, that’s old school, but littledee.net runs on a very old version of Wordpress, and I can’t get it to accept a new plugin to set up “subscriptions” or anything like that).

Surprises are tricky things.

I had my eyes closed and depressingly groaned, “what should I do a Dee strip about?” Cedra replied, “a mockingbird.” And sometimes it is just that easy.

Speaking of “saying ‘no’ to kids.” Thank goodness for breakfast, saving us all.

This is me with kids (and sometimes the world). Easier to hide than say “no.”

Sometimes being reasonable is worth waiting for.

I have had this ideas for YEARS, and have always known how bad an idea it was.

Cedra and I were talking about the amazing amount of toys one finds when one looks on the roof.

If it was “keep your eye on the malt ball,” I would never lose track.

I received a really nice review of “Little Dee and the Penguin” from comic blogger and long-time reader Gary Tyrrell. Although it is very kind and positive about the book, it does talk quite intelligently and deeply on the subject of the sometimes-difficult transition (for a reader) from an original work and what it becomes when it is re-created for a different medium.
