This is my version of Henry V, walking among her troops the night before the big day.

“Little Dee and the Penguin” due out in April next year by Penguin/Dial books, is available for pre-sale from a variety of online retailers.

It’s a full color, 128 pages, a graphic novel story featuring the main cast from Little Dee. And hopefully with many sequels (that’s in discussion).

I still crack up whenever I read “thugging is all that he knows.” As an author, it’s amazing what your characters will say which totally surprise and delight you.

I always felt that I could be more assured in being snarky and flippant if I had a thug. I think Vachel feels the same way, except he actually does something about it.
