i think this gag was inspired by a Woody Allen routine where he thinks he’s a fire engine called “the Great Renaldo.”

I think I mostly just loved drawing all the spots.

I feel the same way when traveling when I see the locals and start thinking things like “they look so perfect for this scene.”

This is why it’s important sometimes to roll with it, to not base your happiness on whether or not your expectations were met. Just saying.
