There was a certain self-satisfied glee I’ve felt from (some) people who made lots of money on the housing bubble, which was fun to play it up here in such a silly way.
My first comics I drew as a kid were about tofu torturing children. My parents both worked in a tofu factory, and as a kindergartner I found that to be hell.
These days I like tofu. Especially with peanut sauce. Live and learn.
That turkey don’t put up with no turkeys.
I researched chocolates, which is where I found the Koko Black. And then one of you sent me some. AMAZING.

As you can see, I have reprinted the four “Little Dee” books as two 8.5×11 thick anthologies (too many to put into one book). Pretty, bigger, and the strips are 7″ wide (they were 6″ in the previous books). At TopatoCo get ‘em while they’re hot!
Today’s strip was a bit of me mocking myself for loving using silly sound effects. Recently in Spacetrawler (my current comic) I drew a space stopping quickly and used a sound effect like squealing tires.
Silly.
Here maybe the reason I write stories: I see the validity of both sides and don’t have a solution.
