It as fun to do this relatively silent week of silliness. I think the results were sweet.

So do I. After all, some of the greatest movies were silents. Buster Keaton was great and he seldom spoke in a movie.
I quite agree, Christopher! Sweet is exactly the way I wanted to start my year ^_^
The expressions in the last frame are priceless! ♥
You guys always make me happy with your comments.
I’ve been better, btw, but my internet is still down. At the library right now. :-/
War Pig, I agree re: silents! Buster Keaton in “The General” is one of my favorites, and holds up to repeated viewings. They had people from all the surrounding towns come to watch the bridge crash. The saddest thing I ever heard was how in the last movie he made (“A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum”), the man who always did all his own stunts was so sick the stuntman had to do the last 5 seconds of his film time, being thrown from a chariot. He died in 1966 before the film was released.
And Christopher, I spent a year getting my daily internet fix at the local library — my heart goes out to you.
