I really just expected it to flip a backflip as the rocket left the area (happened to me once with a balsa glider, and a .30-06 brass full of matchheads. Tape didn’t hold at ALL).
@ pbarnrob: I tried the same thing with a bunch of bottle rockets on one of those el cheapo drugstore gliders. I taped single rockets — minus the stick, of course — in various positions on the fuselage (center, left and right sides under the wing; to the rear under the tail; and to the left or right side of the tail), but the thrust of the rockets simply overwhelmed the poor thing and it would simply spin wildly out of control.
