There is another odd compulsion here, if one complains and another is willing to do the same task without complaint, the complainer MUST do the task to not come across as a whiner.

This is an oddly written strip, all over the map, but somehow the chaos of their lives hold it together. Sometimes the mechanics of what i do are beyond me, I just have to do it until it feels right.
Having to say you have feelings when you don’t is an awful feeling. Having to say you have feelings when you really don’t want to admit to them is just as bad. :)
This is one of those strips which I think would be horrid if the chemistry of everything wasn’t right. But Blake’s request for it, and Ted’s good natured “I don’t know my own strength” saved it from pure evil.
And then there’s Vachel.
