This is an oddly written strip, all over the map, but somehow the chaos of their lives hold it together. Sometimes the mechanics of what i do are beyond me, I just have to do it until it feels right.
Having to say you have feelings when you don’t is an awful feeling. Having to say you have feelings when you really don’t want to admit to them is just as bad. :)
This is one of those strips which I think would be horrid if the chemistry of everything wasn’t right. But Blake’s request for it, and Ted’s good natured “I don’t know my own strength” saved it from pure evil.
And then there’s Vachel.
Apologies, yesterday’s strip didn’t go up until evening. My fault. But it’s up now, so click on yesterday’s strip if you missed it. :)
A somewhat bleak commentary on our relationship with pets. And slaves. And significant others.
Actually, I think there’s some truth to what Vachel is saying, just maybe not specific to this incident. When seeing faults in the world, it can be all too common for people (myself included) to not be able to see ourselves as the common denominator.
