This is one of those jokes I remember I would have loved as a kid.
And still love, but that’s besides the point.
I was very pleased with the perspective angle in panel #3, reinforcing the dialogue in that panel.
Sometimes it’s important enough to screw up, just to let people know they’ve screwed up. Or it seems it in the moment.
Wishing Well are one of those weird little tropes. I mean, I’ve tossed plenty of pennies into fountains in my days, but I don’t think I’ve ever actually seen a wishing well.
Nothing more enjoyable than a good comeuppance.
In real life I never like to see people suffer.
Rules are much more abstract for kids. Which is wonderful.
And frustrating. :)
Vachel is the little voice in my head saying things like this when I become too bubbly.
I think I had just watched this movie for the first time since childhood. So silly! :)
Sometimes it’s better to pretend you didn’t see anything and walk on.
Every now and again I tried to remind myself (and you readers) that Dee is still trying to get home.
