I find this similar to relationships. Sometimes it’s so easy just to apologize, try to bridge a gap, be the first to extend the olive branch.

It was interesting trying to write really good lyrics for Foul Ducky-Duck, and then to write even better ones for Vachel. This strip nails in it every panel.
Oh, and I think that library card was based on mine from the Timberland Library in Olympia, WA.
I took a trip to Puerto Rico the year I drew this. I think right after my trip to Ireland, which was mostly very sad and bleak. But I look back and laugh. That’s all you can do.
