It’s a sad state of affairs when the commercials are more fun than the show.
Not that I’d know, since I haven’t really watched television since the eighties.
And no offense to you die-hard train lovers out there. We all love something. I respect that.
This vein of “hypochondriac” humor has been mined by others, possibly most notable in “Three Men in a Boat (To Say Nothing of the Dog)” by Jerome K. Jerome. And no wonder, it’s fun to play with and so true if you begin reading about ailments!
Oh, and I’m pretty proud of Ted’s understated reply in panel 3. :)
