I played a little with this one, but Blake’s sudden attention in panel two hit the mark, and made it all worth it.
You probably know my sweet tooth by now. First on the list of my county fair memories is cotton candy.
It’s a decent gag, but I’m not sure enough people hike to make it profitable. Well, it might be if you don’t have to pay the minimum-wage teenager for their commute.
The funny thing with a strip like this, is I find myself falling on both sides. I fall into the adult “fuddy duddy” side of enjoying the peaceful side of nature, and I fall into the forever young and silly side of playfullness.
I find that for most people, complaining is like a sport. The topic doesn’t matter, it’s the complaining that matters. Which is why it’s such a problem when things resolve themselves.
I’m a big believer in public property and libraries.
I had mentioned libertarianism (not unkindly) in this blog, and it began building a debate. So i deleted the posts, I don’t think this is the place and I take the blame and apologize for inviting it.
