I put the tag in, Frank. :)
I always thought this strip was a cute play on the mistaken conclusion. And I like the burrrrp. :)
It’s my birthday! I’m turning 5! So old!
That’s one of the interesting things about kids. Sometimes they don’t need “understanding” or attention, sometimes they just need a diversion.

I think this strip was a bit of dream fulfillment on my part. Growing up, I LOVED school supplies, art supplies, and office supplies.
i feel kinda bad for Blake here. There is often on child in a family who is the one who takes responsibilities on their shoulders, and it kinda leaves them having less luxuries.
If you’re wondering if I’m talking about me, I thank you for your erroneous confidence.

Not sure what made me think of this. Of course, I often wonder where half my ideas come from. I guess it was just thinking about things to do at fairs and amusement parks. And then… I guess air resistance seemed like the obvious path.
Not sure that clears much up on the creative process.
I played a little with this one, but Blake’s sudden attention in panel two hit the mark, and made it all worth it.
You probably know my sweet tooth by now. First on the list of my county fair memories is cotton candy.
