The absurdity mixed with sadness mixed with feeling disconnected with nature, mixed with being afraid of knocking things over in antique shops… I find this a very complex strip.
It’s a tough thing when you’re stingy and paying for someone else who you think is buying something foolish.
Fortunately that is a rare thing. :)

In today’s strip I 100% leant Ted my own voice. I don’t get it, but I do like nautical things. :)
I often find that immature running-kind of reasonable seems so much easier than reasonable reasonableness.
I do not think medical staff are gods. I think they do their best with the information they have. So i try not to get frustrated when the first diagnoses is not quite correct.
I sometimes feel like I need a glucose oral drip, wheel it around with me all day.
I think this may be the only time in the entire run of the strip where Vachel giggles. :)
My memory tends to be pretty substandard, and so “medicating myself with nootropics and vainly staring at crossword puzzles” was more than just a gag. :)
