Now begins the two-week run of guest strips. I forgot the reason, a trip no doubt, but some of my favorite cartoonists helped out, for which I’m still very grateful.
So, today’s is by the extremely talented John Allison, who you may now from his webcomics “Bobbins” and then “Scary Go Round,” and now “Bad Machinery.”
After eleven years of wordplay with my comic Bruno, I tended to use it sparing in Little Dee. I could not, however, possibly pass it up in this case.
It’s so hard to get good help, when that help likes butterflies and it’s a pretty day out. I think Abraham Lincoln said that.
It occurred to me when writing this, that reverse psychology doesn’t always work so well with a sadist.
I not only love that he used a paint-roller extender handle for his flagpole, but ALSO that it’s a carryover from last week when they were painting. :)
***EDIT #2****
Everything went fine, I’m home, and all will be on schedule. :)

Today, Monday, I’m having some sudden unexpected surgery. Should be quick in-and-out today, but it’s surgery, so ya never know. And I haven’t uploaded the week’s strips yet (editing this from my phone). -Christopher

I forget if it was Pirates of the Caribbean inspired, but I remember when I thought of doing a pirate week, and how delighted i was by it.
It would’ve been awesome if it had been filled with gunpowder.
Another fun juxtaposition, it amused me when I thought “oh yeah, there would be green stuff GROWING in the cave. Funny.” :)

This must be the week i was seeing into the heart of each character. I mean, that is SO kind and totally smooth of Ted (despite his mistake).
