This reminds me of when I make a joke which is sarcastic or a huge exaggeration, and someone listening believes it, and I feel so bad because my intention is to never make other feel stupid.
I like having such a dog specific joke, those funny plastic cones they have to wear. Oh, and sometimes I’ve been the unwanted cheerer-on, sometimes the unwanting to be cheered-on.
Part of the joy of writing “Little Dee” was when I was able to crack myself up. Vachel, with their history of vacations, chained to a chair, buried to his neck in sand, with a gleeful Dee nearby and Ted saying that he’s “playing with Dee” just floors me.
I mean, I’m glad you all like the strip too. ;-)
