This is such a truism. When you’re annoyed at people, there’s always someone who wants to chum with you about how annoying everyone is, not realizing that they are too.
Really you just want to be alone, the annoyance is build-up and not specific.
Totally inspired by the few times (such as on Mother’s or Father’s day) when us kids would make breakfast-in-bed for the parents. And then stare at them so they had to smile while they ate it ALL.
During occasional moments of clarity during my childhood, I think I felt this kind of thing was going on.

I still crack up whenever I read “thugging is all that he knows.” As an author, it’s amazing what your characters will say which totally surprise and delight you.
