This must be the week i was seeing into the heart of each character. I mean, that is SO kind and totally smooth of Ted (despite his mistake).
This thought makes me shudder. Writing a list of sad things you’d seen and done, and then having the list found. And I feel it is exactly the kind of soulful thing Blake would do.

Of course, after realizing I could make jokes about Vachel “wearing black clothing,” the question arose: was it because he’s a goth or is it slimming? Knowing Vachel, it was a hard choice to make. :)
It occurred to me one day that Vachel’s feathers were black, and that I could make jokes about wearing black clothing. This made me giggle.
I grew up in New England. There were often warm days in April. There were often snow days in April. I usually go out with lots of layers to be safe.

Possibly my favorite thing to do when I was young was to climb trees. In my teen years it was climbing onto rooftops and hiking to ledges to see valley views. Even to this day, my favorite aspect of any apartment I live in is generally how high up. Happy thoughts.
Oh, and I think i really captured in panel #2 what the view feels like when up in a tree, which makes me happy.
Panel 3 still cracks me up. Also, it was great fun coming up with a ridiculous premise to put in the last panel.
