When researching writing this week, I was wondering how to remember which were stalagmites and stalactites. I found this (or was told it, I don’t recall), and it was my favorite way to remember.
I am very pleased with Vachel and Dee in the two silent panels.
Stalagmites have a G for “ground” in them. Or, Stalacktites, STICK TIGHT to the ceiling.
But the tights and mites thing is much more fun..

Or, in keeping with the first part, stalactities have have a C for “ceiling.” :-)
