I have VERY few pet peeves (I’m rather easy-going). But ONE of them is people driving who have scraped barely a large-pizza sized hole through the ice to their windshield. I don’t like it when I’m in their car, because I feel endangered, and I don’t like it when I’m not in their car, because I feel endangered.
That said, I did it once or twice when i was young. I get it. And I also feel lucky to have learned before anyone was hurt.

This comic amuses me particularly considering the car (and the driver)! ;D
And I obsessively clear all windows of cars I’m driving/riding in under such circumstances, though I usually am not the driver. I am smart enough to know someone ELSE should be driving if there is snow on the ground ;)
Try the tunnel vision trick in Ohio and see what the police, sheriff and state patrol have to say about it. One of the first things they told us in Driver’s Ed in the 60s was about that. The front windshield, back window and the driver and passenger front side-windows must be clear.
I can’t stand when people leave snow on any of their windows, esp. the back one.
Leaving snow on the roof of mine bugs me.
