This strip cracks me up, especially the loops flying through the air in panel #3.
It makes me smile that my mom thought so too and purchased this one the moment she saw it. :)
Ah, maps on the back of cereal boxes. They bring back such memories.
Of course, without a plane it’s kind of hard to find any actual correspondence between the map and what’s around you. That’s why my little sister and I always made our own maps. They’re probably still lying around the house somewhere. You’d need a map to find them though.
I hear a whole generation saying “what’s a decoder Ring?” Actually come think of it I have never seen one myself. :)
Hah! I didn’t even think of that, so imbued is the decoder ring in my childhood culture. But no, i don’t believe I have ever seen one either except in pictures. :)
Yes, the decoder ring will make the map make sense–Somehow, I suspect that this is no National Treasure story.
