This strip is all kinds of wrong. I think Ted’s lines are my favorites.

Where I came up with the idea for this week, I’m not sure I’ll ever know.

Is Ted still supposed to be hibernating?

It has already been established in the strip that Ted’s hibernation includes periods of wakefulness, just like real bears. It just takes a lot of noise to get him up. Hibernation isn’t suspended animation. Though that would be cool, secret bear caves filled with sci-fi sleeper pods and bears in weird jumpsuits talking in bear techno-babble as they prep the pods and arm the cave’s guardians, armored cyber-bears. I can already see the SF channel bad movie based on the concept, starring the guy from Buffy who played Zander.
