I grew up in New England. There were often warm days in April. There were often snow days in April. I usually go out with lots of layers to be safe.

Even here in the South (NC), we’ve been known to get snow in April… Once we got ten inches as late as March! That was a fun year, ohyes.

In my eyes, if its still snowing, it ain’t spring. Though I understand people can get depressed by the thought of Winter lasting until May

The 2nd heaviest 24-hour snowfall in Ohio history happened in April of 1987 at 18 inches. The heaviest was March 2008 at 20.4 inches.

I live in a desert in SoCal. We got three inches of snow on Saturday. April is just weird.
