Hee! Cats can be total nuturers! Way back in the day, my manx would always fuss at us when my now 18yo son was an infant and crying like she was saying, “Human! Your kitten is crying! Get on it!” And then she’d beat us to the crib and be washing his head to try & calm him down. It was so adorable and to this day my son, who turned out to be severely autistic, has a soft spot for small black cats; he was raised by one! ;)
That is SUCH a sweet story. :)
I know they would. There’s a marvelous Dyrk Daniels photograph of a toddler against the glass at the zoo, beyond which is a 700-pound Siberian tiger. The toddler has both her hands against the glass, looking in…. and the tiger has one massive paw up, opposite one of her hands, and is pressing his huge forehead against the glass, obviously to rub heads. Parents might blanch at the image, but plainly the tiger thinks the toddler is just too cute not to want to touch. I’m sure if he had some string to offer he would.
@Pete, I simply had to look it up. Wow. That is REALLY cute. :)
described is misspelled.
