   I think it’s freaky that this strip was rerun on the day that the UARS satellite reentered and crash landed, or more likely splash landed.

   Coincidence? Hmmm….

   I only recently learned about Moomin trolls. I don’t really know anything other than that they are in Sweden, and also popular.

   I actually had the experience of seeing a fireball that looked that big over San Bernardino about four years ago. Meep is a good way of expressing it.

   Tove Jansson is Swedish-Finn. Or Finn-Swedish. Can’t remember how it goes. Anyway, true to the Swedish-Finnish relations both sides are claiming she was “theirs”. Personally I don’t care (I’m Finnish), and think that there’s no reason why both sides couldn’t be proud of her.
