I find that if you’re really looking for the glass to be half-empty, and you’re even slightly good at debate, you’re doomed.
I also have very mixed feelings between loving cut flowers, and finding the idea slightly morose (although at heart I love them more).
Wouldn’t it be natural for a vulture’s favorite to be DEAD flowers?
