Logic is no helpful if there are those who cannot see it.
This is one of those strips which has a bit of feeling behind it from me, a sad life-weary feeling which doesn’t necessarily have a place in the strip. So I make a tiny joke at it’s expense to diffuse it, but the meaning holds a bit. I hope. ;-)
Blake often makes more sense than Vachel.
The end of a pizza _is_ kinda sad, especially in the back of the fridge, and furry…
Have you heard about two new Pizza Hut offerings? In the UK, they have stuffed crust pizza where the stuffing is hot dogs. In Saudi Arabia they have a cheeseburger-rimmed pizza.
I agree with Blake the end of a good pizza IS a sad thing.
But if you plan carefully, in the morning there will still be pizza. And warm Lambrusco to go with it. Your morning will certainly look different after breakfast, I guarantee.
Yeah, the meaning is still there, and I do love to wallow in that kind of mood/moment every once in a while. Love the gray, rainy days for that. I also love pizza for breakfast, and I can’t believe how long it’s been since I had it. I’m going to order Pizza Hut tonight, just for the leftovers. Now I’m happy and sad, and happy that I was sad for a bit. Thanks, Chris.
