   I’m a pedestrian/bus rider, myself. I can’t tell you how wonderful it is to be crossing in the crosswalk, and have some driver (on a phone) screech to a stop inches from my leg and then glare at me because they wanted to make a left turn, against the light, and I was holding them up with my “right of way” foolishness.
