it was REALLY fun visually to draw this. :)
I really just expected it to flip a backflip as the rocket left the area (happened to me once with a balsa glider, and a .30-06 brass full of matchheads. Tape didn’t hold at ALL).
@ pbarnrob: I tried the same thing with a bunch of bottle rockets on one of those el cheapo drugstore gliders. I taped single rockets — minus the stick, of course — in various positions on the fuselage (center, left and right sides under the wing; to the rear under the tail; and to the left or right side of the tail), but the thrust of the rockets simply overwhelmed the poor thing and it would simply spin wildly out of control. Rocket Science: Harder than it looks…
