I think I may have come to love comical overlayers of dialogue may have come from the TV show moonlighting. There were some dang good arguments in that show.
I love Blake’s cheerful “yeah sure, tunnel to the core of the earth, not a problem” expression.
I miss Moonlighting. Every time I see Cybil Shepherd on Psych I think about that show.
There is a dearth of original thought in Hollywood these days. Series and movies are reruns of previous efforts. An original, witty and entertaining series such as “Moonlighting” wouldn’t stand a chance of being developed now. Hollywood is, for the most part, drivel. On the other hand there are some entertaining UTube movies being made by individuals.
I would much rather have seen “Little Dee” or “Spacetrawler” made into a movie than “Over the Hedge”. The new strip, “One Way” is off to a very good start, Chris.
Oooh, don’t remember me “Over the Hedge”. When they made the movie, somenewspaper on my zone began to carry it and…seriously? They based an entire drokkin’ movie in THAT? It was a nice gag strip with an original theme, but nothing more.
Glad I’m not alone in my nostalgia for Moonlighting. ;-)
